Cricket: KKR register convincing win

BANGALORE: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered a comfortable nine-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Champions League Twenty20. Royal Challengers posted 169 runs on the board batting first. However, impressive knocks from KKR’s Brad Haddin (42), Gautam Gambhir (55*) and Jacques Kallis (64) meant that the visiting side were never under threat as they chased down the required target.
