Rugby: Afghanistan team arrives in Lahore

The Afghan national rugby sevens team has arrived in Lahore after being invited by the Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU). The team will participate in the Rose Petal Azadi Sevens Cup along with 12 top Pakistan clubs. Omar Aziz, team manager and general secretary of Afghan Rugby Federation (ARF), thanked the PRU for extending the invitation. “This opportunity marks the beginning of a new era for the ARF, as well as a bridge-building exercise between us and the PRU,” said Aziz.
