Football: NBP win close encounter

KARACHI: Adam Hameed scored in injury time to give NBP a 3-2 victory over KESC in a thrilling Pakistan Premier Football League encounter at the KPT Stadium. KESC struck first with Mohammad Ghafoor’s goal in the 10th minute. Ateequllah equalised six minutes later, and then NBP took the lead in the 59th minute through Abdul Aziz’s goal. Abid Ghafoor’s strike in the 89th minute seemed to have salvaged a draw for KESC, but Hameed’s goal was decisive. Elsewhere, KRL outclassed Wapda 3-1.
