ABBOTTABAD: The judicial commission on the May 2 raid that killed Osama bin Laden completed its two-day visit of Abbottabad on Friday.
While journalists were recording their statements, some people pointed out that an official from an intelligence agency was present. Justice Javed Iqbal questioned the man on how he got inside the premises of the commissioner house and he said he came inside with the janitorial staff. On this, Justice Iqbal asked him to leave the room.
Speaking to journalists informally, Iqbal said evidence had been collected and the report would be compiled as soon as possible. He urged journalists to record their statements and said the commission would guarantee their security.
The commission that comprised Lt Gen Retired Nadeem Ahmed, IG Police Abbas Khan and former envoy to USA Jehangir Ashraf Qazi visited Abbottabad for the second time in the past month.

Waste of money and time...
Poor fellow! He was just trying to be helpful. The Agencies always have the best interests of the nation at heart, don't they?
On what principle and purpose media was there. The same applies to a security agency official.
For what purpose these agencies are?. By law they have right to know every thing happens in the country in the national interest.
To "eavesdrop the journalists"? What an oxymoron! Just another tabloid news.
This news just makes the commission sound so independent and neutral doesn't it? With that being established astutely in the minds of readers, I bet anyone my last dollar, ISI will come out clean in findings of this commission. "An independent commission found out that ISI was not involved" What a joke
They haven't even interviewed the ISI and the reports almost completed -- that's says a lot about the purpose of this Commission - finding out why OBL was living comfortably within the shadow of the Pakistan Military Academy and who was helping him apparently isn't on their agenda. This investigation is a sham and will only reinforce Pakistan's negative image within the International Community.
Oh! this is so unnecessary! Who in his right mind would think that there could be any possibility of collusion at state level behind Osama's stay at Abbottabad? For God's sake, even the 9/11 incident was a massive security failure that went completely undetected. Do we blame George Bush for that? Let all sensible people not have any doubt in the eagerness of Pakistani agencies to weed out extremism and terrorism from this world. We should laud their massive sacrifices and thank them for keeping an eternal vigil to protect the entire seven billion people of the world.
Its about time the agencies and other institutions respect the law of the land-charity does indeed begin at home. But @Nadir, why so much hatred!
The mighty Agencies cant respect the law of the land, and he is talking about sovereignty not being compromised!
If the ISI has time to spy on the Commission they have time to be interviewed by the Commission.
Why all the fuss ? The entire administration reports to the agency and is subservient to it. The rest is all drama.
