Factory worker poisoned to death

LAHORE:

A 22-year-old factory worker died after allegedly being fed poisonous substances at an offal-processing unit in the Nawan Kot area.

The deceased, identified as Waseem, was employed at the factory owned by Yasir and Sajid.

According to his mother, Chanda Bibi, she received a late-night call informing her that her son was lying unconscious in the factory.

She rushed to the site and found Waseem unconscious before shifting him to a hospital, where he died. In her complaint, she accused the factory owners of poisoning her son. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
