Katseye postponed its Detroit concert just 30 minutes before it was due to begin on Tuesday November 3, after member Megan Skiendiel became unwell. The announcement came while fans had already gathered inside Little Caesars Arena for the group's Wildworld Tour.

The global girl group, currently performing as a quartet while two members are on hiatus, shared the news through a statement on Instagram Stories. The group confirmed that Skiendiel was unable to perform and needed time to recover.

"Megan is unwell and unable to perform tonight, and we want to make sure she has the time she needs to rest and recover," the statement read.

Katseye also apologised to fans who had travelled or made arrangements to attend the concert. "We know so many of you have traveled, made plans, and been looking forward to tonight. We are incredibly disappointed that we won't get to see you, and we're truly sorry for the inconvenience."

The group clarified that the show had been postponed rather than cancelled, but did not announce a replacement date. It thanked fans for their patience and support, adding: "We love you and can't wait to see you soon."

The short notice left many attendees disappointed. Photos shared on social media showed the arena already filled with concertgoers, while a message announcing the postponement appeared on the venue's stage screen. One mother described the atmosphere in a TikTok video, saying, "We're in an arena full of crying little girls."

The postponement comes during Katseye's first arena tour, which began in Dublin on September 1 and has travelled through Europe, Canada and the eastern United States.

The North American leg is scheduled to conclude in Mexico City on 28 November before the tour resumes in Asia on January 28 2027.

The group is also currently without members Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman, both of whom are taking breaks to prioritise their health and well-being. Management has said Laforteza is expected to return in 2027.
