Mckenna Grace brought one of The Hunger Games franchise’s most iconic fashion moments to life as she appeared in a striking fiery dress during the Berlin premiere of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.

The actress has been paying tribute to the franchise throughout the film’s international promotional tour, drawing inspiration from memorable looks worn by Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. Her Berlin appearance continued the fashion homage, with Grace embracing the character’s legendary Girl on Fire image.

The look referenced one of the most recognisable moments from The Hunger Games, when Katniss makes a dramatic impression through a costume designed by her stylist, Cinna. Grace’s outfit offered a fresh interpretation of the fiery aesthetic while celebrating the visual storytelling that has become central to the series.

'The Girl On Fire'Earlier during the press tour, Grace recreated the white wedding dress worn by Lawrence in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. She described the experience as especially meaningful, explaining that she wanted to honour Katniss and the symbolism behind the costume.

Grace also praised the franchise’s wardrobe for conveying deeper messages about identity, resistance and refusing to let others define who a person is. Her styling choices have reflected that appreciation, with several appearances inspired by characters and fashion moments from across the films.

The actress has additionally paid tribute to Rachel Zegler’s character in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Amandla Stenberg’s Rue and Jena Malone’s memorable promotional looks.

With Sunrise on the Reaping introducing another chapter in Suzanne Collins’ dystopian world, Grace’s red carpet appearances have become a celebration of the franchise’s history. Her fiery Berlin look stands out as another homage to the costumes that helped make The Hunger Games a cultural phenomenon.
