Sharjeel lashes out over roadblock remarks
.

Reacting to the statements of MQM-P leaders, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said though the difference of opinion is every party's right, the era of holding citizens hostage is over.
In a statement, he said threatening to block Shahrah-e-Bhutto and Sharae Faisal and stopping people from passing is not democratic but a terrorist-like behaviour.
Sharjeel said it is ironic to talk about division in the name of democracy and then lament the fruits of the same democracy.
He said the Sindh Assembly has already given its stance on provinces through a resolution, and administrative units in the form of divisions already exist, calling MQM's demand childish. He said MQM's demand for new administrative units is an attempt to create political ambiguity and no political party has the right to block public roads.
