AJK PM accuses JAAC of Bagh deaths

MUZAFFARABAD:

AJK PM Iftikhar Gillani has expressed his sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in the Pindi area of Bagh district, while also holding the proscribed Joint Awami Action Committee (Jaac) responsible for the deaths.

In a series of posts on X, Gillani claimed on Saturday that five months of violence by Jaac had inflicted immense suffering on the people of that area, who, he stated, were made hostage to organisation's "terror".

"It was time the proscribed Jaac and associates responsible for targeting civilians and undermining peace must be held accountable. The people deserve peace, security and normalcy," he added.
