WEXNET Quetta aids women enterprises
Expo provides platform to interact with buyers, forge linkages

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) launched on Saturday the first edition of Wexnet Quetta, which marked an important milestone in efforts to promote women-led enterprises and strengthen their participation in economic and commercial activities.
The two-day event, Wexnet Quetta 2026 – Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition, was being held in collaboration with the Balochistan Board of Investment & Trade, Women Development Department, Quetta Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Exim Bank, Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Company, Buitems and other development partners.
The ceremony was formally inaugurated by Dr Rubaba Buledi, Adviser on Women Development, Government of Balochistan, in the presence of senior members of the provincial assembly, government officials, representatives of public and private sector institutions, development partners and women entrepreneurs.
The exhibition, being held on October 31 and November 1, brings together women entrepreneurs from Balochistan and other regions of Pakistan, providing them with a dedicated platform to showcase their products, interact with potential buyers, explore new markets and develop business linkages.
Featuring 100 stalls across diverse product categories, the Wexnet Quetta 2026 highlights the entrepreneurial potential, creativity and commercial capabilities of women-led businesses. The exhibition also provides an opportunity to promote locally manufactured products, encourage business networking and facilitate greater access to domestic and international markets. Through such initiatives, TDAP says it continues to advance its mandate of trade promotion, enterprise development and market access, with a particular focus on creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs, strengthening SMEs and encouraging inclusive economic growth.
