Taylor Swift wears 65-carat diamond choker, velvet floral dress at Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame
Swift became the youngest artist ever inducted into the institution

Taylor Swift made a dazzling appearance at the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame gala, wearing a 65-carat diamond choker and a burgundy velvet floral minidress as she celebrated a historic milestone in her songwriting career.
The 14-time Grammy winner, 36, attended the 56th Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame gala at Music City Center in Nashville on Monday, October 26, where she became the youngest artist ever inducted into the institution.
For the occasion, Swift wore a strapless burgundy velvet minidress from Raisa Vanessa’s Fall-Winter 2026 collection, featuring colourful floral embroidery in shades of orange, purple and green. She paired the outfit with a custom-made 65-carat pear-shaped diamond choker from Leviev, reportedly worth $2.4 million, along with matching 6.25-carat diamond earrings valued at $128,000.
The singer completed her look with purple Jimmy Choo heels featuring crystal-encrusted ankle straps. She kept her beauty look soft and romantic, wearing a light pink lip, subtle blush and her signature bangs, with her hair styled half-up and half-down.
Swift’s appearance came as she was honoured in the 20-Year Contemporary Songwriter/Artist category, joining the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Class of 2026 alongside Lyle Lovett, Bruce Channel, Shawn Camp and Lee Thomas Miller.
During her acceptance speech, Swift reflected on the role Nashville played in shaping her career, recalling how the city had been central to her dreams as a young songwriter.
“I’ve been very fortunate,” she said. “I’ve gotten to genre-hop and travel the world and write with so many different people and in so many different ways.”
She credited the songwriting community in Nashville with giving her the foundation to explore different musical styles throughout her career, adding that she remained grateful for the experience.
“The only reason that I’ve been able to have that kind of dexterity in my creative process is because of the fundamentals and the foundation that I learned here in Nashville,” she said.
Swift’s induction comes just days after the 20th anniversary of her self-titled debut album, which was released in October 2006. The record helped launch her career in country music before she went on to become one of the world’s most successful pop artists.
The singer recently released The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, featuring four additional tracks, on September 25. She has also continued to reconnect with her country roots, with her original song for Toy Story 5, I Knew It, I Knew You, reaching No. 1 on the US country radio chart in September.
Swift’s Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame honour follows her induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame earlier this year, where she also made history as its youngest female inductee.
