Kashmir Chowk closed to traffic

ISLAMABAD:

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has announced the closure of Kashmir Chowk to traffic from Sunday until further orders due to construction work on the Kashmir Chowk underpass, advising motorists to use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience.

According to ITP, traffic diversions have been introduced to facilitate motorists travelling towards Bhara Kahu, Rawal Dam Chowk and other areas of the federal capital.

Motorists travelling from Rawal Dam to Bhara Kahu have been advised to use the loop connecting to Srinagar Highway, take a U-turn at Margalla Mor and continue towards Bhara Kahu. Similarly, traffic coming from Aabpara towards Kashmir Chowk can proceed along Srinagar Highway towards Korang Wala Chowk and take the Naval U-turn to return towards Rawal Chowk.
