Land Dispute: 5 killed, 9 injured in armed clash

MUZAFFARGARH: Five people were killed and nine were injured in an armed clash between two groups over a land dispute at Chowk Sarwar Shaheed on Thursday. According to police officials, the Rasool Khan and Ali Khan groups have a long standing enmity over the control of a passage way in the village. Members of both groups argued on Thursday and this led to an armed clash between both parties near Khadkan Adda on Rangpur Road.  Five people were killed and nine people were injured in the armed clash. Ibrahim Khan, Abdul Khaliq and Mohammad Saeed of one group and Nawab Khan died on the spot, while Naik Mohammad died on the way to the rural health centre. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
