North Korean state media releases photos of Kim Jong Un amid death rumors
Photos come after earlier rumours circulated online alleging Kim Jong Un died from 'severe cerebral haemorrhage'

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un appeared in photos released by state media on Tuesday after rumours circulated on social media claiming he had died of a brain haemorrhage.
Kim visited a consumer goods exhibition featuring clothing and footwear on Monday, according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The report was accompanied by photos showing Kim touring the exhibition alongside his daughter, Ju Ae, and party and government officials.
Earlier on Sunday, Xie Wanjun, who identifies himself as chairman of the China Democracy Party, a group banned by China, claimed in a social media post that Kim had suffered a "severe cerebral haemorrhage and fallen into a coma" before being transferred to Peking Union Medical College Hospital for emergency treatment due to "the poor medical conditions in North Korea."

Xie, who lives in the US, further claimed that Kim had died from the severity of his condition and a delay in receiving optimal treatment, adding that his body had been secretly transported back to North Korea and that authorities were concealing news of his death.
North Korean state media regularly publishes photos of Kim and reports on his activities.
Rumours about Kim's death have circulated before, as North Korea's limited access to information makes it difficult to independently verify reports about the country's leadership.
The North Korean leader, who is believed to be 42, is also believed to have health problems, although his medical condition has not been publicly confirmed.
