Couple share a family photograph on Instagram, introducing their newborn daughter nearly a month after her birth

Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have revealed the name of their second daughter, Devi Padukone Singh, sharing a heartwarming family photograph on Instagram to mark Dussehra.

The photograph offered fans a rare glimpse into the couple's family life, showing Deepika cradling their newborn while Ranveer held their elder daughter, Dua, who affectionately kissed her younger sister. The family was dressed in coordinated traditional outfits in shades of ivory and gold.

“Of Love & Abundance… Devi Padukone Singh,” the couple captioned the photograph.

The announcement came nearly a month after the couple welcomed their second daughter on September 19. They shared the news in a social media post featuring the newborn's footprint, accompanied by the words, “Welcome baby girl.” The announcement was signed by Dua, Deepika and Ranveer.

The actors had confirmed their second pregnancy in April, sharing a photograph of Dua holding a positive pregnancy test. The understated post, accompanied by evil eye emojis, drew congratulatory messages from fans and members of the film industry.

Dua, the couple's first child, was born on September 8, 2024. In November that year, Deepika and Ranveer revealed her name and shared her first photograph, explaining that Dua represented the feeling of their prayers being answered.

The couple married on November 14, 2018, in a ceremony at Lake Como, Italy. Their wedding celebrations included ceremonies reflecting Deepika's Konkani heritage and Ranveer's Sindhi background.

The pair first worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela (2013). They later reunited on screen in Bajirao Mastani (2015) and Padmaavat (2018), while their relationship became one of Bollywood's most closely followed celebrity romances.
