RAWALPINDI:

The residents of Gulzar-e-Quaid, Street No. 26-29 have been complained about being deprived of clean water for the past six months and being forced to drink foul-smelling, dirty water.

The residents have said that they have been complaining about the quality of the water for a long time, but the situation has remained the same.

According to the residents of the area, the colour of the water coming to their homes often changes and smells bad, and it has become extremely difficult to drink it or use it for other domestic purposes. They said that they have complained to the relevant authorities including the local complaint office of WASA several times, but despite the assurances they gave them, the problem has not been resolved.

The citizens said that if sewage water is intermixing with the water supply, it poses a serious threat to the consumers' health.
