Selma Blair made her first public appearance since her recent arrest when she attended 90s Con 2026 in Hartford, Connecticut, on Friday, October 16.

Another attendee posted a photograph with Blair, showing the actress smiling while seated in a chair. Her appearance followed an incident aboard a flight from Los Angeles to New York on October 11, which resulted in her arrest after the plane landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Organisers had confirmed before the incident that Blair would attend the convention as planned. That’s4Entertainment announced her participation on October 13, maintaining the arrangement despite the arrest.
Blair had initially been listed for a question and answer panel, but her name was absent from the full schedule shared on October 11. The organisers subsequently told a commenter that she had chosen to spend additional time meeting fans at her table.
According to reports cited by PEOPLE, Blair was accused of assaulting flight crew members, a nurse and a Port Authority police officer during the incident. She appeared in court on October 12 and was arraigned on two counts of assault involving the officer and nurse, according to a criminal court affidavit.
A judge set bail at $20,000 cash, $60,000 bond or a $60,000 partially secured bond. Blair was released later that evening.
A representative for Blair said she had experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. The representative added that she received medical attention after landing and was in stable condition.
Delta confirmed that the flight departed Los Angeles earlier that day and said the incident had no operational impact. The airline also emphasised its commitment to the safety of passengers and crew.
Blair’s appearance at the convention proceeded as previously arranged, while the allegations surrounding the flight incident remained a separate legal matter.
