Ben Barnes and Aubrey Cleland confirm marriage in heartfelt wedding announcement
The couple shared their wedding announcement alongside photos and a message about appreciating their partner

Actor Ben Barnes and singer and actress Aubrey Cleland have confirmed their marriage, announcing the news in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
The couple shared their wedding announcement alongside photos and a heartfelt message about finding a partner who understands and appreciates them. The post began with the words, “We got married!”
Barnes, known for his role in The Institute, reflected on the significance of finding a lasting connection in a world of billions of people.
“In a world of 8 billion people, it is extraordinary to find someone who feels like your person, someone who matches your sense of humour, curiosity and humanity,” he wrote.
The actor also expressed his admiration for his new wife, describing himself as a “proud husband” and praising her qualities.
“I married a woman of such rare grace, kindness and beauty, who somehow makes the world feel both bigger and more like home, who finds wonder, joy and laughter in things that might have passed me by, and who makes the ordinary feel momentous,” he added.
The couple concluded their announcement by writing, “We are so happy and so excited for everything to come,” signing the message “Ben & Aubrey”.
Their post was tagged at Chateau de Lis, a wedding venue in Oregon City, and credited photographer Naba Zabih.
The announcement followed a report from Page Six earlier in the week that the pair had married in Oregon.
Barnes and Cleland were previously spotted together during a London date night in July 2025.
Cleland also appeared as Barnes’ love interest in the music video for his song “Nevermind”, released in December 2024.
Cleland competed on American Idol in 2013 and later pursued acting, appearing in The Pitt and The Sex Lives of College Girls.
