Production orders for PTI MNAs issued

ISLAMABAD:

National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has issued production orders for two PTI lawmakers, Sanaullah Mastikhel and Dawar Khan Kundi, directing authorities to ensure their attendance at parliamentary sessions.

According to Express News, the speaker declared their attendance mandatory under Rule 108 and sent letters to the relevant authorities for implementation.

Under the orders, both lawmakers must be produced before the Sergeant-at-Arms at Parliament House at the start of each sitting.

Copies of the order have been sent by the NA Secretariat to the secretary of the interior ministry, Punjab's chief secretary, additional chief secretary and additional home secretary; the chief commissioner and inspector general of police of the Islamabad Capital Territory, and the sergeant-at-arms of the NA for "necessary action and coordination" to ensure the production of the named MNAs.
