Man held for acid attack on rickshaw driver

Police claimed to have arrested a man on Monday for allegedly throwing acid on a rickshaw driver over an old enmity.
A police spokesperson said, the accused, Tahir Mehmood of Mahi Chowk, Tandlianwala, allegedly attacked Muhammad Amin, a resident of Chak 421-GB, while he was standing near Mahi Chowk. Police said the attack was allegedly motivated by an old rivalry.
Station House Officer Ahmad Muneel registered a case and arrested the suspect during a raid. The accused was taken into custody, while further investigation was under way.
