Speedy disposal of trade NOCs ordered

RAWALPINDI:

Rawalpindi Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir on Thursday directed all government departments to decide applications for No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) within three days, as part of measures to improve the performance of administrative institutions and create a conducive environment for businesses.

He issued the directives while presiding over a meeting attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner General Maliha Sehar, assistant commissioners of all tehsils, price magistrates and senior officers of relevant departments.

The deputy commissioner said no business premises or buildings would be sealed without prior approval from the competent authority in case of a complaint.
