Hania Aamir and Asim Azhar continue to acknowledge each other’s music in a series of public exchanges

Actress Hania Aamir has sparked fresh social-media chatter after leaving a playful comment on singer and songwriter Asim Azhar's latest Instagram post, prompting fans to take notice of the interaction.

Azhar shared a heartwarming video linked to his new song 'Maheya', released through Coke Studio, featuring a candid moment with his father, veteran pianist and musician Azhar Hussain. The father-son duo can be seen enjoying the track together in a joyful exchange.

Hania responded to the video with a brief comment: "Screaming I can't." Her reaction quickly drew attention from fans, who began discussing the interaction across social media.

The exchange attracted particular interest because Hania and Asim have a well-known history. Their recent public interactions, however, have appeared more cordial, with both stars acknowledging each other's musical work.

Asim recently showed his support for Hania's debut song 'Pablo', describing her as "an amazing artist" and calling the track a "banger" in a clip shared by BBC Asian Network.

He also defended Hania's move into music, saying that being known as an actor did not mean she could not write and release music as a genuine outlet for her feelings. He particularly praised her self-written lyrics, noting that each line addressed a different controversy she had faced.

Asim also expressed hope that 'Pablo' would mark the beginning of more Pakistani women entering pop music, saying he saw potential for Hania's debut to inspire women in Pakistan, South Asia and beyond. Earlier, he had shared a video of himself in London set to 'Pablo'.
