Joe Rogan has renewed his partnership with Spotify through a new multiyear licensing agreement covering his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.

Under the new deal, Spotify will continue handling advertising sales and licensing for the podcast, which is now available across multiple platforms. The financial terms have not been officially disclosed, but the Wall Street Journal reported that Rogan is expected to receive an estimated $250 million earnout over the agreement.

The new contract follows a similar deal Rogan signed with Spotify in 2024, when the podcast ended its previous exclusivity arrangement with the streaming platform.

“The partnership with Spotify has been an amazing fit, and they’re incredible to work with,” Rogan said in a statement. “I’m extremely happy and excited to continue with them for years to come.”

Jordan Newman, Spotify’s head of content partnerships, said Rogan had built an enduring show that continues to attract a large global audience.

The Joe Rogan Experience remains one of the world’s most popular podcasts. It ranked as the No. 1 most-listened-to podcast on Spotify, YouTube and Apple Podcasts in 2025. The show has 18 million followers on Spotify and has remained the platform’s most-followed podcast since the partnership began in 2020.

Rogan launched The Joe Rogan Experience in December 2009. The podcast has since released more than 2,500 episodes, featuring guests from entertainment, sports, science, business and other fields.

The podcast has also made Rogan a prominent and sometimes controversial figure because of his political commentary and views.
