Man sentenced to death

An Additional and Sessions Court in Burewala sentenced the main accused, Muzammil Hussain, to death for killing Muhammad Shehzad in a murder case. Additional and Sessions Judge Shaukat Ali also ordered Muzammil Hussain to pay Rs2 million as compensation to the heirs of the deceased.

The court further ordered accused Abdul Ghaffar to pay Rs967,619 as fine and Rs25,000 as daman. Ehsan, Muhammad Farooq and Waqar Aziz were ordered to pay Rs80,000, Rs65,000 and Rs25,000, respectively, as compensation to the injured persons.
