Princess Lilibet’s American accent heard in rare video shared by Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle shares a rare video of Princess Lilibet speaking as she gives a glimpse into her As Ever journey

Meghan Markle has given a rare glimpse of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, in a new home video shared on social media.
The Duchess of Sussex included footage of Lilibet in a montage documenting the development of her lifestyle brand, As Ever. The video was shared as Meghan celebrated the launch of the brand’s holiday collection, which includes a luxury advent calendar.
In one clip, Meghan appears alongside Lilibet as they make what looks like jam together. Meghan asks her daughter, “What do you think, Lili?”
Lilibet responds, “I think it’s beautiful.”
The brief exchange offers a rare opportunity for the public to hear Lilibet speaking, with her American accent drawing attention from viewers.
The montage also features moments from Meghan’s childhood and highlights the journey behind As Ever. Prince Harry is also seen standing beside Meghan as she looks at some of the brand’s products.
Meghan and Harry have generally kept their children, Lilibet and Prince Archie, away from the public spotlight and rarely share footage featuring them.
The latest video therefore offers a limited glimpse into the family’s life at home while also promoting Meghan’s lifestyle brand and its holiday collection.
Lilibet was born in California in 2021, following the couple’s move to the United States after stepping back as senior working members of the royal family.
