GTA 6’s current age ratings indicate that Rockstar Games’ upcoming open-world game will feature drugs, sexual content and graphic violence, but gambling is notably absent from the listed descriptors.

The game’s classifications, as spotted by GTAVice, do not currently include a gambling descriptor despite identifying several other forms of adult content.

This could suggest that playable casino games will not be included in the base game, although the absence of the descriptor does not confirm that all forms of betting have been ruled out.

The ESRB has rated GTA 6 Mature 17+, citing blood and gore, intense violence, mature humour, nudity, strong language, strong sexual content, and drug and alcohol use.

PEGI’s rating similarly does not include a gambling descriptor. This differs from several previous Rockstar titles, including Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2, Red Dead Online and the PS5 version of GTA 5, which carry gambling-related classifications.

The ratings also detail the level of violence players can encounter. A PEGI description published before being removed referred to “detailed decapitation and dismemberment”.

The listing states that animals can be harmed, although they “do not produce the same injury detail that can be generated towards human characters.” Rockstar has previously confirmed more than 170 animals for GTA 6, including some with “legendary” status.

Drug use is also included in the ratings information. The description says players can carry cocaine and consume it directly from their hands, as well as use drugs from their inventory.
