Yemen’s Houthis claim attacks on Saudi airports, military bases
Spokesman says forces targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh

Yemen’s Houthi group claimed early Wednesday that it carried out a series of drone and ballistic missile attacks targeting airports and military installations in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement on the US social media platform X, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the forces targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with several drones, claiming the strike was "precise" and disrupted air traffic there.

He also said Houthi forces conducted two operations targeting Abha International Airport and Khamis Mushait Air Base using a combination of ballistic missiles and drones. He claimed the attacks disrupted air traffic at the airport and caused damage to the military base.
He added that the armed forces targeted Saudi military supplies, resulting in the "killing and wounding" of Saudi officers.

In a separate statement, Saree said Houthi forces targeted three military camps — Dagharir in Jizan, Aakifah in Asir and Al-Mawsim in Jizan — with a large number of ballistic missiles and drones.
Separately, the Saudi-led coalition said Wednesday that it intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward the Riyadh area.

Coalition spokesman Brigaider General Turki al-Maliki said on the US social media platform X that the missile was intercepted north of Riyadh after being launched by the “terrorist Houthi militia.”
Al-Maliki also said that coalition forces had tracked the missile’s launch platform using the coalition’s intelligence systems in the skies over Sanaa, the capital of Yemen.
“We are tracking the launch platform with the Coalition's intelligence system in the skies over Sanaa, and we will destroy it,” he said.\
Yemeni government forces seize key mountain peak in Taiz province
Yemeni government forces said late on Tuesday that they seized a key mountain peak in Taiz province after clashes with the Houthi group.
The Nation’s Shield Forces said on the US social media platform X that their troops captured the highest peak in Jabal Habashi district as part of ongoing military operations in the province.
It provided no further details and there was no immediate comment from the Houthis.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Nation’s Shield Forces launched a large-scale military operation against the Houthis in Taiz’s Al-Wazi’iyah district as part of the broader Operation “Dawn of Yemen.”
