Kundi chaired a high-level meeting to review the province's overall security situation and assess the situation arising from the PTI's planned long march.
He stressed the need to further strengthen the operational capacity of police, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and other law enforcement agencies.
The meeting was attended by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed, Additional Chief Secretary Home Ikramullah Khan, Additional IG Special Branch Muhammad Kashif Alam, Joint Director General Intelligence Bureau Arshad Ali Khan (NSC), Additional IG CTD, DIG Operations Shakir Hussain Dawar and other senior officials.
The participants briefed the Governor on the overall security situation, counter-terrorism measures, public order and the latest crime situation in the province.
