Afridi calls emergency provincial cabinet meeting

PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has summoned an emergency meeting of the provincial cabinet for Wednesday morning (today).

Sources said Afridi issued directions late Tuesday night for the emergency cabinet meeting while he was busy with the long march.

The chief minister expressed concern over the governor's decision to convene a meeting on the law and order situation.

No agenda for the cabinet meeting has been issued so far.

However, the long march will continue according to schedule.

The chief minister will attend the long march after the meeting.
