Karachi remembers Minab's lost children

Their names were called, but there were no children to answer. At a memorial in Karachi, an empty classroom was recreated for the students of Iran's Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab who were killed in a missile strike, while drawings by their peers gave a glimpse of the dreams they left behind.
The memorial was held at the Iranian Consulate in Karachi. The ceremony began with the Iranian national anthem, followed by tributes to the students and teachers killed in the attack. In one of the most poignant moments, a representation of a classroom at the Minab school was presented, with the victims symbolically marked present despite their absence.
Details about some of the students killed in Minab were shared with participants during the event.
Students of the Iranian school in Karachi also displayed drawings under the title "Dreams of Minab Students", reflecting their tribute to the victims and their aspirations.
Addressing the gathering, Consul General Akbar Isa-Zadeh called for international condemnation of attacks targeting civilians and students, and expressed regret over what he described as the international community's lack of an impartial response to the incident.
Isa-Zadeh said Iran would not be forced to surrender through such actions and would continue what he described as its pursuit of sovereignty and steadfastness.
