The early chilly winds of winter have descended upon Kaghan Valley following light snowfall on its upper peaks. The combination of light snowfall and chilly winds has intensified the cold, prompting both tourists and local residents to take out their warm clothing.
Yesterday, parts of the northern region including Naran, Lake Saiful Muluk, Batakundi, Babusar Top, and other mountain peaks received over two inches of snow accompanied by freezing winds which have swept across the area.
Once the snowfall ceased, the natural beauty of the mountainous areas appeared even more radiant. Snow-capped peaks and rows of trees standing amidst dense forests created an enchanting landscape, drawing tourists from across the country eager to witness the scenery up close and enjoy the weather. The presence of snow-loving tourists at various spots has revitalised the valley's atmosphere.
Local traders and hotel owners have welcomed the influx of tourists, noting that the first snowfall of the season has injected new momentum into tourism and business activities. The current year's tourism season has been reported to be highly successful for the Kaghan Valley, with hundreds of thousands of tourists visiting the northern area to enjoy its breathtaking vistas.
