Football: HBL sail past Muslim FC at PPFL

KARACHI:

Khayal Mohammad and Zakir Lahshari scored a brace each as HBL edged out Muslim FC 4-3 at their Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) encounter at Peoples Stadium in Karachi. Muslim FC’s Asmatullah scored the opener in the 18th minute before Khayal equalised three minutes later.

HBL were quick to make the scoreline 2-1 as Zakir Lashari struck in the 23rd minute before he completed his brace in injury time of the first half. Khayal then scored in the 57th minute and even back-to-back goals by Mohammad Hanif in the 62nd and 63rd minute were not enough to save Muslim FC. In another match, at the KPT Stadium, PIA were held to a goal-less draw by Afghan FC.
