Woman's death sparks murder allegation

RAWALPINDI:

A mother of two died under mysterious circumstances at her in-laws' home in the Kahuta area, with her brother alleging that her husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law subjected her to violence and administered poison, police said on Tuesday.

Police registered a case following the complaint of Nauman Asghar, who said his sister, Samina Asghar, had telephoned him and complained that her husband Adnan Hafeez's mother, Shahbaz Bibi, and daughter Nadia were troubling her. He told her that he would visit her on Sunday, when he was off work.
