Two killed in workplace mishaps

Two people were killed in separate workplace accidents in different parts of Karachi, rescue officials said. In the first incident, a 16-year-old boy was killed after being caught in machinery while working at a local company in the SITE industrial area. Edhi volunteers shifted the body to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Rescue officials identified the deceased as 16-year-old Khamiso.

In a separate incident near Fresco Chowk on Burns Road, a man died after falling from a height while working. Chhipa officials identified the deceased as 50-year-old Aslam.

According to initial information, Aslam fell from the roof of a shop while carrying out work.
