ISLAMABAD:
The closure of the M-1 Motorway due to the upcoming PTI protest has landed in the Islamabad High Court (IHC), with a Supreme Court lawyer challenging the blocking of the route that prevented him from reaching the PHC for a case hearing on Thursday.
Advocate Mian Shafqat Jan filed a petition before the IHC, stating that a case in which he was required to appear was scheduled before the PHC on September 24.
He requested that roads be opened for lawyers, litigants, witnesses, patients, funeral processions and other emergency services.
