By-poll security plan finalised

BAHAWALPUR:

District Police Office Bahawalpur has issued a plan to all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), Station House Officers (SHOs), and other officials concerned regarding foolproof security arrangements for the upcoming by-election in National Assembly Constituency NA-168 to be held on Sept 27.

According to an official press release, all SDPOs and SHOs have been directed to ensure security arrangements at polling stations, along with the protection of polling staff, election material, and voters, must be ensured at all costs.

"All concerned officers have been directed to maintain law and order throughout the election process to ensure safety of voters, polling personnel, and election material is the police's foremost responsibility," it said.
