Suspects flee with millions in two Clifton robberies

The upscale Clifton area of the metropolis came under the spotlight after two separate theft and robbery incidents left suspects fleeing with millions of rupees on Tuesday.

A man and a woman allegedly stole Rs5 million from a supermarket near Teen Talwar. Reportedly, the suspects opened the supermarket's locker using a key and took the cash. In a second incident, armed suspects robbed a milk trader of Rs1.7 million in Clifton's Block VIII. According to the victim, seven armed suspects riding three motorcycles intercepted him and fled after snatching the cash.
