KARACHI:

Police have yet to trace the suspects involved in the killing of 16-year-old Roshem Khan, who was shot dead by robbers during a house robbery in Manghopir's Green City area.

A protest sit-in staged by the victim's family and area residents outside the Manghopir police station continued with protesters demanding the immediate arrest of the teenager's killers.

Various social figures and others joined the sit-in and condemned the killing.

Roshem's father, Ruaid Khan, said his only demand since the first day had been the arrest of his son's killers. "The sit-in will continue for as long as it takes. It will end only after the killers are arrested," he said.

He said the family would not bury Rosham until his killers were arrested.

Rosham was shot dead by robbers during a house robbery in Green City, Manghopir, in the intervening night of September 7 and 8.
