PIA renews IOSA registration for 12th time

KARACHI:

PIA has achieved a key milestone in compliance with international aviation safety standards by successfully renewing its International Air Transport Association Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration for the 12th consecutive time.

According to a PIA spokesperson, the registration was renewed after the national airline successfully completed a risk-based IOSA audit and will remain effective until September 11, 2028.

During the IOSA audit, PIA's flight operations, cabin operations, ground handling and cargo operations were subjected to a detailed assessment of safety and operational standards.
