Supervisor shot over wage dispute

A worker allegedly shot and injured the supervisor of a private factory near Rohi Nala in the Nishtar Colony-Gajju Matta area of Kahna on Friday, police said.

According to police, the incident occurred after the factory supervisor, identified as Jafar, allegedly failed to pay the worker, Arham, his wages, which led to a dispute between the two.

Police said Arham allegedly opened fire, hitting Jafar in the leg with two bullets and leaving him injured.
