Tom Cruise has revealed what he and Taylor Swift discussed while sitting together at a Kansas City Chiefs game in Kansas City, Missouri.
The actor attended the Chiefs-Broncos game on September 14 alongside Swift, Travis Kelce's family and friends.
Speaking on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on September 17, Cruise shared details of their conversation.
“She was schooling me on football,” Cruise said. “For real. Like, she was bringing the football. First of all, she’s a genius. I’ve been following her since she was a kid.”
Cruise said Swift had become knowledgeable about football since her relationship with Kelce, adding that she did not know much about the sport before meeting the NFL star.
The actor also praised Swift's personality and creative abilities, saying they discussed topics beyond football.
“Talking about music and movies. And she’s funny. She’s got such a great sense of humor. She is a brilliant writer also,” Cruise said.
Cruise also described the experience of spending time with Swift, Kelce and their friends as a memorable occasion.
He said he had not attended a football game since before the COVID-19 pandemic because of his work commitments.
“Everybody there, all their friends, they’re a beautiful couple, you know, and magical in their own right,” Cruise said.
The comments came as Cruise promotes his upcoming film Digger.
