Suspect in Karachi quadruple murders killed

KARACHI:

A suspect arrested for allegedly killing a woman and her three children was killed in an alleged police encounter.

SSP West Tariq Elahi Mastoi said suspect Humayun was being taken to the location to recover the weapon allegedly used in the killings when he snatched a pistol from ASI Nauman Sheikh and attempted to flee.

The officer sustained a gunshot wound to his arm during the incident, while other police personnel opened retaliatory fire, killing Humayun on the spot, according to the SSP.
