Bushra seeks early FCC hearing
.

ISLAMABAD:
Bushra Bibi, wife of incarcerated former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, on Thursday approached the FCC for an urgent hearing of her appeal seeking suspension of her sentence in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust case, citing a rapidly deteriorating eye condition that she says threatens her remaining eyesight.
In an application filed through her counsel Barrister Salman Safdar, the former first lady asked the FCC to fix her appeal for hearing in the week commencing September 21, arguing that the prolonged delay in deciding her sentence suspension plea had already caused serious prejudice.
