Aespa’s Giselle faces criticism over Instagram posts referencing XXXTentacion and Richard Ramirez
The scrutiny centres on images shared in Giselle’s Instagram photo dumps, which have included crime-related visuals

Aespa member Giselle is facing online criticism over Instagram posts that include references to rapper XXXTentacion and imagery associated with convicted serial killer Richard Ramirez.
The scrutiny centres on images shared in Giselle’s Instagram photo dumps, which have included musicians, toy guns, knives, blood-like visuals and other crime-related imagery.
Several users have questioned the inclusion of XXXTentacion, whose legal history has remained part of discussions surrounding his legacy.

He was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment and witness tampering before pleading not guilty and denying the allegations. He died in 2018.
One X user questioned the reference, writing, “Isn't that XXXTentacion on her shirt, back when he was arrested accused of serious crimes against his girlfriend?”
Another user wrote, “Damn she's criminal supporter, a whole tcc 🤯”. However, the material provided does not establish that Giselle has publicly described herself as a supporter of criminal activity.
References associated with Richard Ramirez have also attracted attention.

Critics highlighted an image showing another person wearing a shirt featuring imagery linked to Ramirez. Fans have pointed out that Giselle was not wearing the shirt and that the item came from a brand.
The debate has centred on whether Giselle’s posts should be interpreted as endorsements or as part of an alternative, collage-style aesthetic.
Her Instagram has reportedly included unrelated images, fashion references and visual jokes.
