Women, children's protection stressed

SIALKOT:

Awareness sessions on the protection of women and children are being conducted at schools and colleges across the district. According to a police spokesman, a campaign started on September 14 in this regard will continue until September 19. During the sessions, police officers are sensitising students, teachers and staff about the rights of women and children and measures to prevent violence, harassment and sexual abuse.

Children are being educated in simple terms about

the difference between "good and bad touch" and encouraged to immediately report any unsafe situation to their parents, teachers or police.
