Man's body found stuffed in sack

RAWALPINDI:

The body of an unidentified man, believed to be in his 40s, was found stuffed in a sack in Dhoke Mustaqeem, within the jurisdiction of Naseerabad Police Station, on Wednesday.

A preliminary police examination indicated signs of torture on the body. Police suspected the man had been strangled to death before his body was placed in the sack and dumped along a local road.

Police registered a murder case against unidentified suspects on the complaint of a local resident, Shafiqur Rehman, and launched efforts to identify the deceased and trace the suspects.

According to police, local women had gathered around a suspicious sack lying along a road in Dhoke Mustaqeem.
