Robert Pattinson has officially returned to the streets of Gotham as filming for The Batman: Part II continues across London, with new set footage giving fans a closer look at his return as Bruce Wayne.

Recent footage from the production shows Pattinson in character as Bruce during a tense sequence outside St Paul’s Cathedral. The iconic London location has been transformed into part of Gotham City, with protesters surrounding Bruce as he moves through the area with private security.

The latest images have quickly fuelled speculation about the direction of Matt Reeves’ sequel, although the filmmakers have kept the story details closely guarded. Reports have described signs carried by the protesters as references to Gotham’s wealthy elite, suggesting that Bruce could face growing public anger over his family’s legacy.

Production on The Batman: Part II began in London in June, with Warner Bros Studios Leavesden serving as another major production base. London and Liverpool are among the locations being used for the film.

Pattinson recently discussed the physical demands of returning to the role, telling GQ that the fight scenes have become significantly harder as he has reached 40. He also described the production as a marathon while expressing confidence in the film and its cast.

The sequel brings back Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb. New additions include Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan and Brian Tyree Henry, although several character details remain undisclosed.

The Batman: Part II is currently scheduled for release on February 18, 2028. With filming now capturing major scenes across London, Pattinson’s latest appearance offers one of the clearest glimpses yet at the next chapter of Reeves’ Gotham story.
