All suspects held in Naran killings

BALAKOT:
Police have arrested all the nominated suspects allegedly involved in the brutal murder of two minor boys over a dispute concerning grazing land in Naran three days ago.
According to police, the tragic incident occurred on September 10, 2026, in Rabai Mahli, within the jurisdiction of Naran Police Station. Rashid, 14, son of Haider Zaman, and Abdul Rehman, 12, son of Jamal, both residents of Haripur and currently residing in Rabai Mahli, Naran, were grazing goats when the accused allegedly killed them following a dispute over grazing land.
A case was registered at Naran Police Station against the nominated suspects after the incident was reported.
A special team comprising DSP Paras Sadiq Nisar, Naran SHO Raja Sajid and other police officers and personnel launched an immediate operation and arrested all the nominated suspects allegedly involved in the incident.
Police said Muskeen, son of Akbar, a resident of Rabai Mali Danna, Naran, had been formally arrested, while three other suspects - Bhutto, Rangeen and Alamzeb - had obtained pre-arrest bail from the court.
Further investigation is under way, while Mansehra police are completing all legal formalities in the case.
