ISC praises Gilani's parliamentary diplomacy

ISLAMABAD:

The Inter-Parliamentary Speakers' Conference (ISC) has praised Senate Chairman Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani's efforts to advance parliamentary diplomacy and strengthen Pakistan's engagement with legislatures worldwide.

In a letter addressed to the Senate chairman, ISC Secretary General Ek Nath Dhakal conveyed the conference's appreciation, on behalf of the ISC and President of the Senate of Cambodia Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, for Gilani's presence and contribution to the Second ISC held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from August 26 to 28, 2026.

Dhakal also acknowledged Gilani as the Founding Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers' Conference.
