Zaid Ali and Alina Amir trade humorous jabs during a TikTok Live session

Digital creators Zaid Ali and Alina Amir turned a TikTok Live session into a playful exchange of criticism, with their remarks about comedy, talent and the portrayal of fathers quickly drawing attention on social media.

A viral clip from the session shows Alina taking aim at one of Zaid's familiar comedy portrayals, questioning his practice of placing a pillow under his shirt to create a protruding stomach while playing a father.

"I have been quiet for a while," Alina told Zaid before challenging the idea that the exaggerated appearance accurately represented fatherhood. "Do you really think fathers are that unfit? You are also a father. Is your stomach really that big?" she quipped, turning her criticism into a joke at her fellow creator's expense.

Alina went on to suggest that Zaid could use more conventional visual cues when portraying a father, arguing that a moustache or beard would be sufficient. "If you want to become a dad, you can put on a moustache and beard, that's fine. But what's the point of putting a pillow inside your shirt and pretending to be a dad?" she asked.

Zaid, however, was quick to return the favour. Turning the conversation towards Alina's own work, he announced that he would demonstrate her "talent". He then played a song and began dancing, presenting the impromptu performance as his humorous depiction of Alina's talent. "That's talent. Is this talent?" he asked while dancing.

The exchange soon circulated widely online, prompting a lively response from viewers. While some appeared to treat the interaction as harmless banter between the two creators, others sided with Zaid in the comments.

The episode also reflects how TikTok Live has become a space for Pakistani digital creators to engage audiences through spontaneous exchanges, teasing and unscripted comedy.
